This accomodation is located on wonderful location. Rooms are very clean, from the terrace with swimming pool is great view on the river Douro. From there you can also watch the sunset. The staff is very friendly and everyone tries hard for the guest's comfort. I highly recommend visiting this accommodation.

Everything! From the excellent and detailed wine tasting, the views of the property, the infinity swimming pool with sunset view, the dinner and breakfast service, the painting with wine in their little garden, it was all beyond perfect. Highly recommend Ventozelo hotel and quinta for the best Duoro experience!! Perfect for couples and small groups. We couldn't hike as we were tired but this property has multiple mapped hikes which one can do as an activity.

Room is bit dated but is comfortable. Bed was really comfortable. I had balcony with view to the river, with two sun beds and parasol. Bathroom was big, shower had excellent water pressure. Room was cleaned daily and breakfast was included.

The staff were welcoming, the room clean and spacious and the pool are was attractive and well looked after. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. We didn’t use the restaurant, preferring to have snacks in the Sunset Bar which were very good.

A dream place 🥰 The position is stunning, secluded on a quiet hill overlooking the Douro. The Quinta is lovely, well renovated in Portuguese style. Dinner was great and breakfast delicious too. Walking in the vineyards and relaxing at the pool was simply amazing. We also enjoyed the wine tasting on the terrace of the bar at the town entrance, facing an unforgettable sunset.

The location of Casa dos Avos is perfect, in a cute village just outside Regua. The apartment itself is an example for a great renovation - there is a feel of the old house - very thick stonewalls and amazing veranda, yet everything else is brand new. The attention to detail is remarkable - everything is provided including a mini size Sensodyne toothpaste. Breakfast was abundant and was delivered in a picnic basket.

We were met at the condo by lovely Maria and her nephew Joao. The condo was much bigger than I expected and was absolutely spotless! Maria delivers the most delicious and plentiful breakfast at your requested time in the morning. Nice patio with a beautiful view of the Douro River and sunset! Would highly recommend! Lovely location with views over vineyards. Verandah gave a shady location to watch sunset and stay out of the hot sun. Fringe in the room and access to drinks and coffee on a pay-for-consumption basis was welcome. Host is friendly and generous with his explanation, despite language hurdles. Very responsive to emails and questions on booking. A short walk to town for cafes and restaurants. And a number of wine cellars close by. Great location near (but not in the bustle)’of the Port areas of the Douro.
