Nice walking trails around the area as well. 10/10 for sure

Teniqua Treetops is a tented treetop resort set in the lush forest along the Garden Route between Knysna and Sedgefield. Easy to find location, the staff were so helpful and friendly. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds comfy and warm, the shower was nice and hot. The views were absolutely exceptional—we even had a bird come visit us for breakfast!

We loved our stay, it’s private enough that you can really relax. It was clean and comfortable and would definitely come back. My only suggestion is to make sure ice trays are full before new guests check in - but it did not take away from our stay.

From the very first moment, we felt warmly welcomed and completely at ease. The accommodation is lovingly designed – rustic, yet equipped with all the comfort one could need. We were especially impressed by the incredible silence at night, beneath a breathtaking starry sky – far away from light pollution and the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The beds were extremely comfortable, everything was spotlessly clean, and the décor matched the natural surroundings perfectly. The hosts were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about making our stay unforgettable. They gave us wonderful tips for wildlife spotting on the property, and indeed, during our stay we were able to watch zebras and antelope through the camp’s own telescope. If you're looking for an immersive nature experience with privacy, this is the perfect place. We will definitely return – Zandfontein is a place where you can truly unwind and recharge. I rarely write reviews but this place deserves 10 minutes of my time. Firsly, the host, Chris, was really nice and approachable and did everything possible to make our stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. We found the place clean and ready for us. You are literally surrounded by nature, no soul in sight and the accomodation is way more beautiful than the pictures show. The bed was very comfortable and waking up to that view from the dome is nothing l have ever experienced. The shower had nice hot water although l prefer bathing outside in the provided outdoor which had very hot water. The view from that tub is indescribable. We had dinner at the lake under lamps and candles, lamps and candles we got from the property. There were even binoculars for use, enough fans and the kitchen has all you need for a stay. There's a gas barbecue stove and gas was even provided for us. We had ribs done on the stove, so so good. There is a bigger lake that Chris let us use. It felt like we had the entire farm to ourselves due to its sheer size. There's absolutely nothing that was a negative here. We had a saloon car but you will probably be better off with a SUV although we did just fine. If you want a place where you want to relax and leave all the stresses behind this is the perfect place.
