New ZealandThe host family were beyond amazing. They were the kindest and most hospitable hosts I've ever had. They made us feel welcome and at home and made sure any need was met before we even knew we needed It. They showed us true Albanian culture and customs, with music and dance, shared historical stories about the area and made amazing wood fired food. Best hosts I've ever had.
Adriat didn't speak much English so his daughter Aida translated and when she wasn't there we used Google translate which wasn't an issue.
The location was breath taking. It was on the water nestled in the mountains, you can either take a short walk across a bridge or the hosts can come collect you with a boat.
The food provided for every meal was organic and locally sourced which made every bite amazing. Local dishes and ingredients for every meal. We were offered coffee and Raki throughout our stay along with an endless supply of fresh mountain water.
Very relaxing vibe which is what we were looking for to end our time in Albania. Options to take out kayaks or paddle boards were also there
Best place we stayed at in Albania for sure.
