Campsites in Golling an der Salzach

Nice campsite with a beautiful view. Toilets and showers are clean. We woke up at 6am so there wasn’t anyone in the showers, but I think there are too many people for only 4 showers.

The views are spectacular and the cost is affordable considering where you are camping. The guy on reception was very helpful and explained everything to us. It was nice and quiet and no streetlights to ruin the views of the night sky. There was no struggle to find a pitch and it was good that we were able to choose our own, as some places don't allow this. With the waterfall being about 800m away it's perfect to hike there in the morning with the added bonus of a smoothing soundtrack at night.

Nice location, nice friendly staff at hotel next to campsite & restaurant which was fantastic.walking distance to a beautiful waterfall. Even a vending machine for french fries which was a first! Good showers with plenty of hot water. Highly recommend.

The chalet is a wood a small house located next to farms. The confort is minimal, sleeping bags are required as there are only 2 mattresses. It’s small and can accommodate 3 people max. There is a small living room next to the room. It was not very clean, bring some linen to protect your sleeping bag. But it’s definitely worth spending a night to enjoy the countryside! We had a great diner at the gasthof abfalter. The camping offers a breakfast for 25€ per family.

The campsite is actually behind the Landgasthof Torrenerhof at the end of the wasserfallstr. Plenty of open space in an open field. Basic camping area. Check in did not seem to be too important. Payment is handed by the guest house reception.
