Although Caravan Park inspires a different idea in Australia as to what we were met with in Portugal, a little more research on our behalf could have prepared us better for our expectations to be met. This is primarily a residential caravan park more than camping/holiday. We were met by a lovely host Anabela who was more than happy to use Google Translate to walk us through the check-in process and receiving our security passes, as well as finding the bungalow nestled in between the many small streets of the park. The house itself was lovely, matched the pictures exactly and even included some basic kitchen items.

This campsite is situated 200 metres from the beaches of Costa de Caparica and includes a tennis court and restaurant. Some bungalows and caravans come with a kitchenette and free parking.

Very great bungalow, the campsite is clean and organized. The staff is very helpful. I can only recommend it to everyone who wants a nice and quiet environment.

Peaceful Caravan Escape is a beachfront property set in Costa da Caparica, 200 metres from Fonte de Telha Beach and 23 km from Jeronimos Monastery.

Solmeco Park, a property with a bar, is set in Aldeia do Meco, 1.8 km from Bicas Beach, 39 km from Jeronimos Monastery, as well as 39 km from Dona Maria II National Theatre.
