The hosts were so friendly, great with communication and helpful! This place is the perfect get away from all the touristy areas! It’s only about a 30 mins drive from La Fortuna, which we did not mind. We enjoyed eating at all the different sodas in the nearby towns on the way to La Fortuna instead of in town! It was cozy, and we enjoyed reading outside in the evenings. You hear so much wildlife and it is very relaxing! We will definitely stay here again if we come back to the area!

Amazing and beautifully decorated cozy little cabin with a stunning view. Comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, delicious breakfast left for us in the mini-fridge, nice bathroom - no hot water in the shower so if you happen to be there on a colder night, prepare to squeak! We didn't mind though. I very much appreciated the delicate attention of the presence of conditioner and a rescue hygienic pad - very thoughtful and demonstrative of the value that is placed on the care of guests! The highlight is Juan Carlos himself. We went on a bird walk with him in the morning (DO go!): not only is he friendly and kind but also very knowledgeable about birds and knows the area super well, so we saw toucans, a trogon, colibris, jays, ... all of it with stunning views over the San Ramon valley. Awesome!
