In the heart of the Bragauds forest between the village of Sainte Marie de Ré and Rivedoux beach, the Fougères camping offers a calm and wooded environment. What a lovely surprise this place was. We booked a premium lodge, it was so clean and plenty of room for 4 adults for one night and not really like I imagined a camping lodge at all. Air conditioning unit in living area which kept the whole unit cool by leaving the bedroom doors open. I would definitely book again. A 20 minute walk to restaurants and bars. Parking outside the lodge was perfectly adequate. Its definitely worth paying the extra and going premium as then your sheets (crisp linen) and towels are included, although you do have to make up your own beds (minor detail)

The tent was lovely, friendly helpful staff. The bar was nice to go to in the evening. We were too late for the pool but it looked nice and clean.

Absolutely wonderful escape to celebrate our anniversary. It was over 40c so the only thing missing was some clime but the staff lent us a large fan.

Located in Sainte-Marie-de-Ré, 200 metres from the beach, this campsite offers a children’s playground, 2 tennis courts and bike rental. everything was as expected, staff was helpfull, animation for kids nice, pool was big and clean. You can rent your bike directly in the camping and travel around.
