The view was the highlight! It was amazing! The property was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. Just be aware,there are no duvet covers so you need to bring your own but I’m pretty sure they mentioned that somewhere. It would have been nice to have a cleaning rag or something like that but we used our sons wipes and paper towels! They also provided a sponge which was great.

Located 150 metres from Lake Orta, Campeggio Punta di Crabbia is set on a mountain side outside Pettenasco. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant and make use of free Wi-Fi in public areas. The location is perfect, very close to the lake. The place is beautiful and quiet. Matteo, the host, is a wonderful person, who gave us useful advices and helped us a lot. Thank you very much! We will definitely come back.

Set on the shores of Lake Maggiore, Camping Rose is only 2.5 km from Arona. It features a private beach area, accommodation with a patio, and a traditional restaurant. This place was amazing, such lovely staff, so clean and well-kept, perfect location next to the beach with lots of wildlife including swans, ducks, geese, moorhens, a heron and lots of cormorants. The facilities were excellent, nice toilets and showers, a good cafe with a great selection of food overlooking the beach, a kids club with lots of activities for children, a nice pool and everyone so friendly. Thank you so much, we had a lovely time!

Lakeview Cannobio Camping & Resort offers self-catering apartments and mobile homes right on the shore of Lake Maggiore. It includes a free private beach with deckchairs and free parking. Definitely worth it as although the campsite itself is not large since it is on the side of the mountain and split in various levels, the view of the lake and the mountains is spectacular and the private beach great!
