This was such a unique property—very remote, yet close to the nearby town of Dalen. The kitchen was well equipped and we made dinner (there were four of us staying in the two cabins) and foraged for mushrooms and berries at the hosts encouragement and guidance. We also utilized the breakfast items and our leftovers to make omelettes in the morning before we left. We used the amazing sauna and small pond on the property in the evening. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms were great and the sunrise was unbelievable. The mirrored cabins are not to be missed. We spent a LOT of time taking photos!

The campground has a children's playground and a picnic area. We only stayed for one night on the way home. We had the whole house for ourselves so it was very quiet and comfortable. The bed linen and towels were included, the double bed was too soft though. There was a fully-equipped kitchen with everything you need and a small bathroom with things like shampoo, shower cream, soap and even toothpaste. Wi-fi worked OK.

Outdoor play equipment is also available for guests at Fossumsanden Camping og Hytter. Amazing location with access to the lake and to a beautiful waterfall! The personnel is very nice and helpful, and they offer canoe rental, which is a must!

Free private parking is available on site. Excellent place for a stay. Clean and well equipped facilities, warm cottage and friendly staff. The morning sun is really beautiful there. Superb activities for children as well - games, trampoline etc. and nice beach. Quite big place yet still peaceful as long as you do not mind a group of happy kids playing around here and there

First Camp Bø - Telemark is a campsite open all year round, only 500 meters away from Sommarland in Bø, right by Lifjell and with Høyt og Lavt adventure park right on the forest border to the camping area. The campsite contains cabins and apartments in traditional telemark style, hobbit houses/pods, and camping sites for motorhomes, caravans and tents. Very beautiful cottages (we had 2) and very comfortable
