We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It is just next to the train station. So we felt very convenient. Besides, the hotel staff was also very friendly and helpful.

Very cheap price for a double bed room with a private bathroom - check in and check out are extremely no-fuss, you just walk in and out. Room was actually bigger than the last budget hotel we stayed at. Very short walk from the station, great food places within walking distance too.

Lovely Japanese style experience, very nice room, with everything you need. There is a lot of entertainment options in the common area, including a Play Station, plenty of books and manga. We rented a bike, which was an excellent idea, and very affordable. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Great location

I rarely stay at guesthouses or shared dormitories, and I was worried I may not be able to get a good rest, but at Guesthouse Oku it turned out just fine. The rooms and common areas are spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location very convenient. The owner, Yoko, runs everything by herself. She is very kind and friendly, and you’re in luck if you catch her playing the shamisen. I would happily stay at Guesthouse Oku again!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful Japanese house with very kind hosts. The traditional rooms are very atmospheric and the house has great kitchen and bathroom facilities. Convenient to a supermarket and bus stops to the centre- but also a pleasant walk. Breakfast and morning prayer with the hosts was a really special experience.

The accommodation is located above a restaurant, and it was wonderful having the entire place to myself! It reminds me of a retro Japanese home. Really comfortable place to stay in, and the host is a lovely and friendly person. She was very accommodating to my plans and even made breakfast and dinner for me for a small fee. Having a free washing machine to use was also super convenient!

Loved the traditional Japanese Inn experience. The bathhouse was great and had the inside or outside baths. The staff made up our room while we were out which we were not expecting, which was great! Very convenient location to everything.The breakfast staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Excellent Japanese breakfast and convenient location near Todaiji. Rooftop lounge is great for sunset views of Todaiji. Walking distance to most of the major sights. Friendly helpful staff and a newly renovated room with the very latest Bluetooth Toto. Bath is a bit small and only warm but still nice.
