Me and my mum stayed here for one night and it was a perfect stay. All of the staff were so lovely, the views were breathtaking & the food was incredible (although the prices are slightly higher than we’ve found elsewhere in Ecuador it was so worth it for the quality & taste & big portions). Such an amazing night in the countryside with lots of things to do, thank you!

Location was amazing with clear views of Cotopaxi volcano and surrounding volcanoes. Only a short drive to the National park entrance and some nice walking trails around the lodge, bonus having a trail to nearby trout farm for fishing. The food was exceptional especially the dinner (3 course meal). The staff even made us packed lunches for our hike up Cotopaxi Volcano which was exactly what we needed. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Especially Jesica who organised all our activities for us and helped out with everything - she spoke fluent English as well which was a bonus considering our Spanish wasn’t great! Even all the guides and drivers for the activities are extremely friendly and helpful which made the day tours so enjoyable. The room we stayed in was perfect. A large comfortable bed and the fireplace kept the room very warm and cosy.

Tambopaxi is an truly exceptional place inside the National Parc. Through our window, we had a magnificent view on Cotapaxi Vulcano. Sleeping inside the National Parc has the great advantage that you can start a walk or a ride with horses at your door step. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant is good and the daily menu really fills up after a day of walking. A small but extremely lovely element was the fact that they light up the fireplace in your room at 17h00. Finally the place is "mountain" style so do not except a 5 star resort. But it fits perfectly in the environment and has a high standard. If you need transport, Guido with it's yellow school bus is a great person. You can ask his support through Tambopaxi Reception.

What an amazing place to stay! The reviews and photos were already impressive, but the real experience is even better. The host is incredibly kind, always willing to help, thoughtful, and really committed to making your stay the best it can be. The food in the restaurant is good, with authentic Ecuadorian-style flavors. Waking up to a view of the Cotopaxi or having breakfast outside in the green field with that same view is really unforgettable. You can explore the surroundings on foot or relax in one of the hammocks on the property with a book and a view of Cotopaxi. This place is an absolute gem, and I will definitely be coming back!

We loved our stay here! The lodge was so cosy and the beds were really comfortable, with heaps of soft blankets provided. The shower was also nice and hot! The included dinner and breakfast was great too. Great value for money!
