The stay was pleasant, beautiful, and comfortable, truly giving you the feel of San Juan, but the real wonder was the kindness by the staff. The view from the rooms is absolutely beautiful. They look exactly like the pictures. The kitchen is clean and organised. The staff were kind and so caring. When I accidentally left my bag at the property, they personally came and brought it to me in the town! The rooms are private and secluded - perfect for a quiet getaway!

This property is simply stunning!! We loved our chalet cabin surrounded by nature. Richard (the host) is the sweetest American guy. He cooked us delicious breakfast at whatever time we wanted and was always available to drive us back and forth to Santiago (closest town across the lake). The rooms are comfortable & cosy. You also have stunning views of 2 volcanoes from Richard’s deck, where you have breakfast.

Thanks to our lovely host Lee, we stayed in the beautiful Casa Balam in a hummingbird filled garden beside the lake. Perfect small villa appartment for a couple, with cooking facilities. Early morning kayaks along the lake shore, clear water to swim in. We are definitely coming back.

We loved to stay here and even extended our stay! The room and view is just stunning, spacious and very clean. The location not at lake is perfect and really quiet- and supernice staff!
