If you want to stay on Etna, somewhere quiet and peaceful, this is the place! It is 30 minutes drive to the nearest town with stores/cafes etc to get supplies (the tap water isn't drinkable by the way!) There is lots of good walking through the woods and amazing views of the volcano. The chalet is extremely comfortable and the mattress was perfect!! Marco was extremely helpful, we arrived early and he made the effort to give us access remotely before he could arrive to show us everything personally. We loaded up on firewood and spent 2 days sitting by the fire, and had several visits from the local fox, who is quite timid but very cute and always looking for food! Electricity, WiFi, hot water, heating etc all perfect.

Our host Antonio was very helpful! He gave us very precise information of how to reach the cabin and where we can eat around. The cabin had all needed facilities and tools to make a beautiful fire. The rooms were cosy and cute, very clean. Loved our stay!

Lovely location at the foot of the Aetna (pity the weather only partly allow for views). Very calm location - relaxing after two days in bustling Catania. We could sleep with the window open, to enjoy the fresh air.
