Amazing place, thanks to Lal property manager for all the help and for the exceptional service highly recommended, its close to Ella but away from too many tourists. There is a tv with English movies, washing machine and cooking facilities we had a great time and would stay again, thanks Lal!

Exceptional view of 9 Arch Bridge offered by local family who go out of their way to make sure you are well looked after. Yes it’s a little way out of Ella but this means it’s much quieter than the hectic town centre. Plus the owner has a Tuk Tuk and will drop you off / pick you up whenever necessary for a fair price. Breakfast is served on your balcony including egg hoppers, coconut pancakes, fruit salad and freshly squeezed juice. Tea and coffee facilities are provided in the room. Everything was just perfect!! We have been there for 4 nights. Devaka and his family have been so nice and the food (breakfast & dinner) was really good. Devaka took us to a tea factory which was very interesting and also gave us a lot of helpful tips for the hikes and other stuff to do around. Room was small but had everything, also very confortable beds. The shower was also hot, what is very nice when it‘s a bit colder. The place was perfect, far away from the chaotic Ella but close enough to the train station. Thanks again to Devaka and his family. Highly recommended to stay there!!

We loved Arawe and would have loved to stay longer. It’s a beautiful place with such a unique style that’s honest to the environment. It’s fabulous to support such a sustainable and community focused business. Very kind and warm welcome from all of the staff. Always there to help. The kids loved the animals. We also participated in a morning yoga session which was just me and my 7 year old daughter. The yoga teacher adapted the session wonderfully to suit us both. The breakfast was probably the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka, so much so we asked to come back for breakfast again even though we couldn’t stay a second night.

Had the best time in Sri Lanka here! The host family are so friendly and kind, doing everything they can so that we are happy. Met the entire family, including the dog! Nice room with terrace, where we had great breakfast and perhaps the best dinner in Sri Lanka! The owner arranged scooter, tuktuk whenever we needed and gave great instructions and recommendations for hikes etc. Great memory in Sri Lanka!

Super nice employees, extremely helpful super friendly. check out the tree house room it's a great experience it's really right in the jungle. You can see a lot of animals. Thank you for birthday cake, next time we will stay longer :)
