The beds were so comfy. The home is about 10 minutes from town, but the drive is nice and the street is quiet and relaxing--just what we needed. The hostess was very accommodating with a few questions we had. I would happily stay here again.

The logde is absolutely amazing. They have such a great eye for detail, from the nicely and comfortably designed rooms, the breathtaking view from the sauna and hot tub, the beautiful interior of the lounge, to the breakfasts and their overall friendly service. We definitely hope to come back!

We stayed in three places during our visit to Portugal. This farm house was the only one in a rural location. It was such a pleasure to experience the quiet and the stars. At the same time, we still had easy access to Óbidos and neighboring towns. But the main event here is the gorgeous agrarian landscape: an apple orchard, a long grove of pine trees, rows of pears and Óbidos beyond, Such a pleasure to open the front door and have such a beautiful view to greet you. Vanda and Antônio were very welcoming and great hosts. Loved it here.

I liked how attentive and responsive was a Host on minor property related problems which occurred during our stay. There is no stay which is 100% flawless, but the way the host helped us - is beyond expectations. We are happy that we booked this stay and highly recommend it! The properly itself was great and we had no troubles to keep out two small toddlers under control (after minor furniture and items relocations).

Duncan and Claire have built a really wonderful "rolling" surfing community of travellers who love to surf. Both lodges are in fantastic locations, just a few steps from the sea and all the best surfing beaches, and they are walking distance from Peniche centre. Both lodges are well equipped and impeccably clean. The family have dedicated their lives to surfing and know Peniche very well so the surfing instruction at the surf camp and local knowledge of the area is really top notch and they love to share it. They have lessons in the morning and set up a "beach base" for the day on a chosen beach. If you go surfing in the morning and tent their equipment, you can use the surf boards for personal use and go free surfing with friends you've made during the lesson, in the afternoon - or just chill out on the beach or do your own thing. This was really great as it made it very easy to make friends and make plans with others or to have a base to go off and do things and come back to. They masterfully facilitate a great group attitude to surfing lessons, (everyone said they had made good improvements) ... while creating an ambience for the group to bond and have fun together. I thoroughly recommend here for solo female travellers or couples or friends - I went on my own and had a really good time - met some great people, loads of lovely places to eat/drink and felt I was in the hands of surfing pros. I've come away refreshed, having made great friends and feeling my surfing has improved 😊

Wonderful, peaceful spot with a beautiful view, and very comfortable accommodation. The hosts are the nicest people you could meet, and their dog, Zazu, and farm animals are delightful. Great spot for couples, and for families with small children.
