The whole place was stunning, the vibe of the hotel and restaurant was amazing-there's a two month wait list for the restaurant- so you know it's good (guests of the hotel get automatic seats!). You can canoe straight onto the river outside, there's two nice pools and the views from the rooms are just stunning. Each morning the owner greeted us with advice on where to go and what to do - adding a personal touch. We loved it and didn't want to leave.

absolutely worth every penny! loved the fact that we were away from traffic and the very day huddle of life! it was meant to be a couple of days complete rest from everything and it was that and more! the facility was well maintained and comfortable and had everything we needed! although there was power outages with load shedding we did not mind because we wanted the break and staff provided us with candles when the load shedding occurred. we were given as much firewood as we wanted and basically had a fire going for almost 3 days straight! that was amazing to have! they did not advertise falsely and we knew what we were booking and got just that!!

We recently spent two unforgettable nights at Belle Balance Bush Lodge, and it was an experience we will cherish forever! From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming staff made us feel right at home, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. The lodge itself is beautifully situated in nature, providing a serene and peaceful atmosphere that instantly helped us unwind. Our accommodations were comfortable and tastefully decorated, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the tranquil surroundings. One of the highlights of our stay was the game drive. It was an incredible experience to see the wildlife in their natural habitat, and the knowledgeable guides made the adventure even more memorable. We were lucky enough to spot an array of animals and learn about the local ecosystem, which added a fantastic educational element to our trip. The relaxed atmosphere at Belle Balance Bush Lodge made it easy to let go of our everyday stresses. We found ourselves wishing we could extend our stay to soak in even more of the beautiful surroundings and the delightful hospitality. Every detail was carefully considered, from the delicious meals to the cozy common areas where we could relax and enjoy the company of fellow guests. We wholeheartedly recommend Belle Balance Bush Lodge for anyone looking for a tranquil escape near Plettenberg Bay.     The cabin is cozy great for a solo or a couple's stay. There was no breakfast served, self catering cabin. The location is perfect for a quiet time away from the noise. Great proximity to outdoor activities in and around Plettenberg Bay.

    Cabin space and equipment inside and out was great value for money. Staff and owners were very friendly and accommodating, in fact service was outstanding and I really felt at home. Farm animals were cute and friendly, lovely relaxing setting. Wifi signal was excellent in cabin, even 1 km from main building, due to strong router nearby. Restaurant for breakfast and lunch was excellent (great value for money), including evening meals on Fridays.

    Quirky and wonderful! A gorgeous little cabin set back in the woods... we had such a great time! Everything you need and more - loved the two decks and fireplace, very comfortable and private!
