It has balcony to see the volcano. The lodge has hiking trails. I enjoyed two day solo walk. Well maintained and easy to walk, except river trail. I met only few people on the trail and i was able to enjoy the solitude. I appreciate Greivin at reception helping me to arrange transportation to Mistico to La Fortuna town.

The grounds are spectacular and the rooms are incredibly beautiful. The staff are super nice and accomodating. The pool area is like a resort. And the breakfast was pretty yummy. We especially enjoyed the live music at breakfast, that was such a treat. I cannot wait to go back

There are SO many great sodas and places to eat at in town, we didn't necessarily want to pay for included breakfast. The kitchenette was perfect, and we could re-heat leftovers etc, but it really felt more like staying at our own place. We hardly saw another person (staff or guests, but we know they were there!) the whole time, and it was so peaceful. Staff was very responsive to questions via Whatsapp, and the instructions for getting in and out of the gate/ parking area/ keys etc were very clear.

The owners were so nice and gave us useful recommendation that only locals know about trips in this area. We really liked the sustainability of this property and that you stay so close to nature there. They really take care of the plants and the animals and also the night walk was fascinating. This property was our favourite stay at our costa rica trip and if we come again we would definitly stay there again.

The view from the property was amazing! It was a bit cloudy sometimes but we could usually see Arenal poking through. The garden is so beautiful, and attracts gorgeous butterflies and hummingbirds. My dad had a great time just sitting on the patio and enjoying the sound of the jungle, watching all the wildlife surrounding the cottage. It was so peaceful and relaxing there. We also found the resident sloth on the road next to the house! The mural on the walls of the house is unbelievably beautiful!! The house was compact but had everything you needed - hot water, wifi, washing machine, AC, fully equalised kitchen, and even a smart TV. We really enjoyed staying there, and the price was great too!

This was absolutely the best place we stayed at for our whole trip. We only stayed one night based on our travel plans but wished we would have been able to stay longer. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean. The views were unbeatable and offered a very relaxing atmosphere.
