Fikardou Chalets is a recently renovated chalet in Phikardhou, where guests can make the most of its seasonal outdoor swimming pool and garden. The air-conditioned accommodation is 33 km from Presidential Palace - Nicosia. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Great location in the mountains. George the host and his family were very welcoming and also took us for a short walk to see the sun setting. Everything you need is at the chalets including the use of bbq and fridge. If you do want to eat out there is a restaurant nearby that George will book for you.

At the chalet complex, some units have a private entrance, dining area, fireplace and kitchenware. Some of the units feature a cable flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and a hair dryer. At the chalet complex, units come with bed linen and towels. Amazing place: First thing you see is the pool area which in fact is even better than on the pictures. It was already cold so I didn't swim, but whole garden was very inviting with plenty of seats, the friendliest dog in the world, and some fruit trees (the owner told us that we can pick and eat it whenever we want to). The view is breathtaking and the silence helps to fully relax. Just what we needed coming from the noisy city. The owner is very friendly. He gave us some tips by phone how to get in there, once we arrived he greeted us with the smile, answering all our questions, and during our stay he was respecting our privacy, remaining at our disposal whenever we needed him. The place was new, perfectly decorated (especially recommended for the couples, romantic place that boost your stamina). The kitchen had everything you could imagine: kettle, toaster, oven, pots and pans, coffee and sugar. Maybe I was missing some basic species (there was only salt) and oil, so someone who comes just for a day or two don't have to buy everything but it's a detail. I've read the comments about either too cold or too hot water in the shower. Perhaps it was a problem in the past, during our stay the water temperature was ideal. There is Netflix and quick internet (rain damaged internet router outside and owner reacted immediately installing temporary router until the previous will be fixed - fully profesional!) There is a chimney, we asked for the wood and we got it from the owner without extra charge. The place has its own small shop, very basic products but we have been told that it will improve in the nearest future. The closest mini market is 45 minutes walk away. You need to like walking or have a car here. The nearest village is half an hour walk away, the other side you will find Agios Mamos 2h walk away (beautiful landscapes). 3h walk away you will find more shops and waterfalls. No buses from the hotel to troodos.

On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the chalet's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. Is not easy to combine excellent level and cozy feeling. Is not easy to have every detail and stay stylish. To have a wonderful garden and keep it all in excellent shape. Kapilio did it all! And OMG, the house itselves and all stuff was unbelievable clean.

Located in the traditional village of Kakopetria, Maritsa Lodge features a garden and offers traditionally decorated accommodation with beamed ceilings and a fireplace. Free WiFi is available in public areas. Cute lodge in a cozy little village. Clean and comfortable room with an amazing bed. Maritsa is so nice and helpful and upgrades us to the suit for free. Nice and varied breakfast in the morning at the time we prefered. Would come back!

Boasting mountain views, Ricky Chalet Near Troodos features accommodation with balcony, around 4.3 km from Adventure Mountain Park. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Rooms have a patio with garden views. The location is magical, we stayed at Ricky house 1 , if the smell of pine trees and the sound of birds signing, peace and quite is what you are looking for then this is the place to go. The Chalet is beautiful, and in excellent condition, it has everything a family of 4 would need for their stay. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are cozy, Ricky even remotely switched on the heating for us as the temperature dropped late evening, night and i hadn't packed properly! The kitchen could do we a few more utensils, and the charcoal BBQ can be updated too, but we managed just fine! Please take note that the village doesn't have a mini market or anywhere for shopping groceries , so its best you take everything with you. For anything you may have forgotten there are bigger more 'cosmopolitan' villages near by that have small minimarkets. And not that it made a difference to us, but the shower room/ toilet is downstairs. There is nothing we didn't like, and i went with my two boys aged 16 and 5 and my husband, just don't expect any "fancy" facilities, its a home in the forest, built with much care and love, with beautiful gardens and the basic necessities for a short relaxing stay with friends or family.

River Glamping Kalopanayiotis has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Kalopanayiotis, 23 km from Kykkos Monastery.

A fridge and toaster are also available, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. Everything was perfect. Very clean , comfortable relaxing ... we had a great time!
