L’établissement Killa Bhawan Lodge se situe à 700 mètres de ce lieu d’intérêt : Fort de Jaisalmer. Excellent location with great view from both the room and cafe on the terrace. Top class food all day, we had nearly all our meals here for four days. Wonderful people watching from the cafe terrace!! A genuine easy 10 min walk to the Fort. Room was super clean with good hot water and comfy bed. But best of all was the manager Vicky, he was so relaxed and attentive and helpful, with loads of good stories. A true host!

The property is private and open with lovely amenities. They even arranged a folk evening with dancing and singing. The food is amazing and they accomodate all reasonable requests. I travelled with my three dogs, and all of us had the best time ever. The staff were very accomodating with regard to dogs' requirements too! Loved the experience!

Additional cottages have been added and if you like feeling as if you are in the National park with nature all around, this is the place to be. The bedding was all new and the bed very comfortable indeed. The bath room overlooking the jungle is an additional feature and yes there is enough hot water to fill it! The pool is beautifully kept and the sitting out areas are numerous so you never feel crowded and can move around with the sun to not as you wish! Each cottage has a private terrace so you can be separate too. The food is freshly cooked and my gluten intolerance was expertly catered for. The manager has been an experienced guide in the past so was very aware of all our needs. Taking us for a walk through the lower hills to a reservoir where we could spot many birds which is what we wanted. There are safaris to see leopards which was fun….tigers too are being reintroduced.
