I like everything about this accommodation. Well designed, well thought through to provide comfort and convenience to the guest. Nice long bath. Within walking distance to the ski area. Friendly staff who try their best to help. They provide free shuttle when I arrived/departed.

The Bears House was an amazing place to stay for skiing in Furano. 20 minutes from the resort, it lets you stay out of the city in the countryside, but you re close enough to get groceries or dinner in town. Eating at the restaurant next door that Dan and Aya run was a highlight of our groups entire trip to Hokkaido. The hosts removed all snow and provided an amazing place for a ski trip destination.

It sits in an amazing location with views of the surrounding mountains. The house is very spacious and well equipped for living. We cooked our meals at the house, including the barbecue grill outside. The appliances and TV worked well, we watched a movie on Prime. The living room and bedrooms were comfortable. There are many nearby attractions in Furano and further north. We highly recommend this house.

All units feature air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. This place is very cute and cozy, everything is very nicely organized and clean. But I must point out how nice the hosts are! Jimmy was very helpful, friendly and welcoming, he gave us some good tips a well. His lovely wife was baking bread every morning for breakfast. We are very happy with Pension Ashitaya.
