The private onsen across the street is incredible, I had it to myself every night, and there is an option for breakfast. The room was perfect for two of us, and Papa was so kind to drive us to and from the Myokokogen station and the mountains, and also on some errands which was so kind. It feels like you are stepping into a place that can’t be created, a piece of personality.

The property offers a free shuttle service. Free private parking is available on site. My friend and I had an absolutely fantastic time staying at this hotel. It's a family establishment run by Satoshi and his wife, along with their two small children, with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the location can't be beat with a five minute walk to the Ishiuchi Maruyama gondola. Satoshi and his wife were incredibly kind hosts, providing me and my friend with pick-up from Echigo Yuzawa Station (multiple times since we arrived and departed at different times!) as well as transportation to Maiko Ski Resort. They also rented out snowboarding gear and provided breakfast for extremely reasonable prices. I would recommend this place 10 times out of 10 and have every intention of returning myself in the near future.　サトシさん、誠にありがとうございます！

It was very clean and well maintained, the bedding was super comfortable and the air conditioning really helped cool down the summer heat. We were there for Fuji Rock and the location is really great for getting the shuttle bus to the venue and back. The lodge even offered a free service back to the station the day after the festival. Staff were super friendly and helpful too.

The staff are all awesome and they care deeply about the Forest Lodge and their guest experience! The rooms are wonderful, the common areas are super comfortable, with an updated but traditional feel. Beautiful drying room and tuning area in the basement, and everyone is there to ski/ride so you'll get solid tips. They're happy to give you a lift to/from the resort if you don't have a car. The view from the private onsen was really wonderful. Recommended in Myoko!

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Nathan and his team were phenomenal hosts. Absolutely key to have knowledgeable folks like them. Recommendations on ski spots, nightlife, and any other things that popped up were all spot on from the Myoko House team. Excellent location near to the Akakura slopes and central to some of the other ones in Myoko.

After a day of hiking or skiing, guests can relax in the shared lounge area. Amy and Chris are very lovely and helpful, the house is located on the slope and not far from the village, and the food they propose (incl. breakfast) is delicious.

The spacious chalet comes with 2 separate bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area and microwave, and a living room. Towels and bed linen are featured in the chalet. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. We rented the cottage for NYE, a group of 7. It was well decorated, well heated, and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Everyone enjoyed every bit of the stay.
