After visiting Colombo, Kandy, and Galle, we headed down to the ocean in the south, and the place where we stayed the longest was this one. We stayed eight nights and were sad to leave because the accommodation was absolutely phenomenal! 🤩 It was set in nature, exotic yet safe, and equipped with all necessary amenities, including air conditioning and always warm water. We even had our own place in front of the cottage where we relaxed every day, drinking tea and enjoying delicious pancakes. As for the hosts, they were the kindest people we could have encountered! 💙 Since there was a family restaurant, this wonderful woman prepared a new specialty for us every day, and each one seemed even better than the last. We never received such large and high-quality portions during our stay in Sri Lanka. All in all, for those who want to experience the charms of nature and the true spirit of Sri Lanka, to relax their body and soul, and recharge with positive energy, I highly recommend this accommodation. I hope we can return next year! 🏝️🌍

Offering pool views, Koragaha Lodge - Yala in Tissamaharama offers accommodation, free bikes, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. This has been my favourite hotel in Sri Lanka so far. The lodges are beautifully designed. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed was so comfortable. Praveen was extremely welcoming and helpful to us during the stay. We organised the Yala National Park Safari through the hotel in advance of our visit and it was 90USD per person (the hotel also arranged a naturist to join us on the safari and I really would recommend doing so as it gave great insight to the animals we encountered). The food was excellent. The staff were extremely accommodating to dietary requirements and were able to provide a vegan dinner. They prepared a vegetable kottu, coconut curry and dhal and it was soooo delicious. My partner also got grilled chicken and said it was the nicest meal of the trip! Could not recommend Koragaha Lodge more.

At the chalet complex, the units are equipped with bed linen and towels. The way we were welcomed, the location, the cabin, the staff very generous with their time and smile. The food was real good. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with bidet and free toiletries. The staff were so welcoming and lovely. Couldn’t speak strong English but always went above and beyond to make my partner and I feel welcome and comfortable. Sad to leave this place

Opening onto a terrace with garden views, the air-conditioned chalet consists of 1 bedroom. Towels and bed linen are provided in the chalet. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. Amazing room and garden. Superb breakfast. We stayed in 7 hotels during our road trip in Sri Lanka and this was by far the top one. Would highly recommend.
