Kandalama Lodge is a delightful boutique hotel and is even better than the photos. So happy we decided to stay for 4 days (we had considered Jetwing Lake and the Heritance) as the hotel is absolutely perfect. My husband and I stayed in the casita with the pool while our daughters were in a two bed room. The rooms and bathrooms are immaculate — the outdoor bathroom exceeded expectations with high end fixtures and no critters even in the middle of the night. We had all meals at the property and the chefs deliver on both Sri Lankan and western food. Super fast wi-fi in the rooms and on the property. The pool and gardens create a relaxing vibe. Wedge, the owner, could not have been a more gracious and helpful host. He and the team arranged transport and local outings to Sigiriya, Minneriya, Dambulla and a spa for massages. Help was always available, if needed. Truly a wonderful place!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Rock Shade Chalet – Sigiriya. The chalet was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with a beautiful natural setting close to the main attractions. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious and freshly prepared, making our stay very comfortable. A special mention goes to Mr. Lasantha, who gave us massive support throughout our stay. His warm hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine care made a big difference. Furthermore, he arranges Sri Lankan cooking lessons for foreign guests, which is a wonderful initiative to share our food and culture with the world. What impressed us most is that all of this is offered at an affordable price, and the team works tirelessly 24/7 to give their very best to guests. Overall, Rock Shade Chalet is a perfect place for a peaceful family getaway, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sigiriya.

L’établissement Sigiriya Hillside View Villa se trouve à 2,6 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Sigirîya. Very much in the heart of nature. A spacious room. The breakfast was good and substantial. Sadeepa, the hosts' son, helped me a lot. He advised on the walks up both Pidurangala and Sigiriya Rocks. As he had a tuk tuk it was easy to get to each of the Rocks to do a sunrise walk. He kindly came early in the morning to pick me up and charged a fair rate. Sadeepa also helped me to get my laundry done and was a great help, which made my stay very easy and pleasant.

L' accueil est parfait ; le propriétaire et sa famille sont à l'écoute ,et ne savent que faire pour satisfaire pleinement leur client.La piscine est la cerise sur le gâteau ; l'on peut s'y baigner à n'importe quel moment de la journée

Best breakfast that we had the opportunity to have so far. Guests are really welcoming and will do anything to help you. Very clean place and excellent location.

The pool and the huts are lovely. Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner were delicious and the host went out of her way to cook for us and help us out plan our trip. Her husband also drove us when need which was very appreciated! Thank you

La piscine est un réel plus dans la région, c’était hyper agréable de faire de pause rafraîchissante entre les excursions! L’hôtel est idéalement situé au calme et proches des activités. Avec un hôte au petit soin qui nous a conseillé pleins d’activités à des prix très raisonnables, mention spéciale pour l’activité massage dans un centre magnifique d’Ayurvedic qui a convaincu toute la famille ! ( prix imbattable)

Situé à Sigirîya et offrant une vue sur la ville, l’établissement Sigiri Lake Paradise comprend un jardin, une terrasse et un restaurant. Chambre super jolie et propre. Petit-déjeuner et repas du soir délicieux, tout était préparé avec soin. Propriétaires très gentils et serviables. La dame nous a organisé le tuktuk et taxi a un prix raisonnable. Guest house localisée au calme au bord d'un lac avec vue sur Lion's rock. Rapport qualité-prix très bon pour la région.
