Anjelo went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. He is a very charming guy. It was great to relax on the patio outside the bedroom and read and listen to the birds. A very unique experience. It is easy to walk to Ella for dinner and walk to beautiful areas like Adams Peak and The Nine Arch bridge from Tantra Ella Lodge.

The view of the bridge and the jungle were absolutely stunning! It was a short walk down to the bridge if you wanted to get on the tracks which was great. The room itself was absolutely perfect. All of the amenities we could have asked for and you could tell it was very new. It was also a short tuk tuk ride into town when we wanted to do some shopping, and our host was so generous to give us a ride when we needed. The family that hosted couldn’t have been any sweeter, and we were so grateful for the time we got to spend there and the opportunity to have met them!!

Everything is exactly as it is shown in photos. The view from terrace is stunning, breakfast delicious. Combination of these two gives you amazing time! Last but not least, host is super nice, she helped us to arrange morning transfer to the station. I highly recommend this place!

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. We had a amazing stay here, the rooms are very new, good water pressure and very clean. You can enjoy a nice view from the balcony. The owner is a great host, and loves to show you around his garden, and have a good chat with you. Definitely recommend this place. Thank you again for the unforgettable stay!

We had an amazing experience with Kamal during our stay From the moment he picked us up, he went above and beyond to ensure our trip was special. Kamal guided us to Diyaluma Falls, and drove us to the Halpewatte Tea Factory, and.. He was incredibly kind, attentive to details, and always made sure we were comfortable. What really stood out was Kamal’s thoughtful planning—he shared invaluable tips to help us avoid crowds and enjoy peaceful moments at each destination. He patiently waited for us, gave us plenty of time to explore, and was never in a rush. His friendly attitude, local insights, and very reasonable pricing made the experience truly memorable. We highly recommend him to anyone visiting Ella! At the same time he was not pushing us to anything we did not want to do! We also did the cooking class they offer which was also amazing local experience.
