It is a short walk from the main station away from the noisy center and at the end of a more quiet street right be the jungle. It offers a super comfy communal terrace/chill area which is decorated with a lot of personality and attention to details. From there you can watch the nature in front of you and might even catch a glimpse of the giant squirrel or other exotic animals. The room we had was cozy and very clean. Had a great night's sleep there while listening to the sounds of nature. Highlight of the place is the host Angelo, who is just an overall awesome person and who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Whether it's the chocolate cakes and tea upon arrival, serving us huge mountains of Sri Lankan breakfast every morning, letting us shower in an unoccupied room after we came back from a hike while already checked out or filling up our 5 liter water container before leaving, we really couldn't have asked for more. On top of that we had some nice conversations and received helpful recommendations. Thanks a lot for the great hospitality and hope to seeing you again.

L’établissement Barn Hills se trouve à Ella, à respectivement 1,9 km et 1,8 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Pont aux neuf arches de Demodara et Colline Little Adam's Peak. This will be the best stay during your Sri Lanka trip. The most friendly hosts, they arranged everything for us without being pushy trying to sell their services. The breakfast was fantastic and served right on your balcony. The view is to die for and the balcony is perfectly suited to take it all in. Very clean and big room (it’s a lot better than the pictures show). We hope to come back here someday.

Offrant une vue sur la montagne, l’établissement NETHSARA cottage comprend une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite et un parking privé gratuit. Maybe one of the loveliest rooms we booked in our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. It had 2 beds, a porch and a view on the opposite hill with a Buddhist temple. It is not in downtown Ella but you get the view, so it's a question of taste. Breakfast was served on the porch and was delicious. The owner was great and helped us organize our pickup to and from the cottage as well as a driver to go to Yala.

Great location as it is only 500m from the train station which is 2 stops from Ella. Beautiful view over the garden and hills beyond. Very quiet. No traffic noise. The room was spotlessly clean with plenty of hot water for the shower. Delicious home cooking. But above all else our host and his family made us feel so welcome. Our host helped us plan a fantastic few days. He is completely fluent in English which made all the arrangements go so smoothly.

L’endroit est d’une beauté absolue, niché dans les montagnes verdoyantes, à 10min à pied de la ville d’Ella. Nous avons réservé la « Villa 2 chambres », qui est somptueuse, dans les moindres détails. Deux grandes terrasses, vue sur la nature, beaucoup d’intimité. La douche extérieure (il y’en a une à l’intérieur également) est vraiment incroyable.

L’hébergement " YOLO " LOVELY COTTAGE se situe à Ella, à 7,1 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Pont aux neuf arches de Demodara. L accueil, le dîner et le déjeuner sont incroyables. Les hôtes ont été irréprochables et à notre écoute ! Ils ont répondu à toutes nos envies.

Doté d'un jardin et d'une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite, l'Arana Sri Lanka Eco Lodge and Yoga Center est situé à Ella, à 3 km du pont aux neuf arches de Demodara. Their staff is really amazing! They were helped us with everything, breakfast was very delicious and the view from the room and from any other part of the eco lodge is simply breathtaking. Thank you very much!

L’établissement Cloudy Hill Cottage vous accueille à 6,1 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Pont aux neuf arches de Demodara. The views were absolutely amazing and so was our host!! She made us a delicious breakfast every morning, helped us plan our activities in Ella and even gave us an incredible cooking class, making some great Sri Lankan curries! And for such a good price!

We spent two nights at Spice Lodge in Ella and it was simply spectacular. The room was super comfortable — honestly, some of the best nights of sleep we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Breakfast was outstanding, freshly prepared by Kamal’s mother, and we highly recommend the cooking class with her and Kamal’s sister, which was a wonderful experience. The homestay has a very warm and family atmosphere, everything is spotless clean, and the location is just perfect — only 20 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by tuk-tuk from Ella center, right at the starting point for the Nine Arches Bridge and also a great base for Little Adam’s Peak at sunrise or sunset. Kamal was the perfect host, always kind and helpful. He even took us on a tuk-tuk trip to a waterfall about an hour from Ella, which was an unforgettable experience. In short: great location, great service, spotless cleanliness, and a truly authentic homestay experience. Highly recommended!

Situé à Ohiya, dans le parc national de Horton Plains, le Hill Safari - Tea Estate Villa est entouré de montagnes et de domaines où est cultivé du thé. We loved our stay at the Hill Safari. The views were spectacular, the staff made us feel very comfortable and welcome and the room was everything we needed. The food was also delicious and they gave us many new year treats to try. They recommended some great walking routes, talking you through the route with a hand drawn map!
