We adored this sweet homestay in Dong Van. It’s located just out of the town but not out of your way at all, perched up looking over the mountains and their beautiful garden. Every detail is so lovely and thoughtful. The food is the best we’ve found on the Ha Giang loop, the dogs are so cute and the room was very comfortable. We love the style, kindness & peaceful vibe. Highly recommend staying here :)

Also the dining area is amazing and the hot pot we ate there was the best we had in Vietnam. We also loved the ginger tea. It looks like on the photos in booking. Another advantage: We left our luggage at the lodge in the morning, organised via the lodge a short ride by motorbike to the start of the sky path and walked the whole skypath back to the lodge (it just ends there). Its good to walk in this direction as in this way you constantly descend and you enjoy amazing views. We can highly recommend this lodge.
