We loved the view, the braai space and the hot tub :) The shower was also really nice and big with great water pressure and warm water. Very comfortable beds too. No load-shedding was an added bonus.

The cottage is charming, quaint, exceptionally well kept and has everything you would need for a perfect couple of nights away. The bed is comfortable, bathroom facilities clean and adequate and the kitchenette has it all. The outside patio is quaint and peaceful, with a nice piece of lawn to sit or lie on. Braai facilities, while maybe a little detached from the areas one would sit, were clean and adequately stocked with wood and braai utensils. Extra wood was easily available at R50 a crate (at the time of writing) The fire pool is small but more than adequate for amount of guests the cottage hosts, which is 2.

Jereon and Michelle welcomed us very well ♥️ Everything about this spot was wonderful. We had only one night during our garden route but we managed to rest very well and enjoy it truly as a family.

All cottages have an outdoor wood-fire heated hot tub, while the other has an unheated plunge pool. 10/10 Highly recommend! We stayed in Ruby Star cottage. Absolutely beautiful cottage with mountain views, Kolkol hot tub, braai area, luxurious bedroom, lounge, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. What more could you need?
