From the moment we pulled up until the very last moment we drove away we were taken in as family. Sofra is a special place in the region and the country, a labor of love by Edi and his family in a gorgeous location. You can plan a whole vacation around this spot: hiking into the Gramoz foothills; dining on lamb, fresh tomatoes and the biggest petullas I've ever seen; watching the petka and lakror-making processes. The new guesthouses at the property (a different listing on this site I think) are also very sharp and very luxe. But the whole experience is exceptional.
