Amazing property on absolutelly breathtaking place directly on lake side. I can only be jelaous that I did not take lake view room! Everything there was really great pool, saunas, dinner was heroic and breakfast absolutelly enough!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Landhotel Hochlackenhof, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Nestled in a very calm part of the landscape, this familly managed accommodation offers a serene and peaceful environment that is perfect for relaxation. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the room. Every corner was spotless, and it was clear that great care is taken to maintain high standards of hygiene. The room was not only clean but also very comfortable, making it a perfect home away from home. One of the highlights of my stay was the outstanding kitchen. The meals prepared here were exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious dishes that catered to all tastes. Whether it was breakfast, or dinner, the quality of the food was consistently high, and it truly added to the overall enjoyment of my stay.     Beautiful scenery and the views across the lake are amazing. Limited supermarket facilities and quite expensive - worth shopping further afield if you have a car. Check restaurant opening times as some were closed when you might expect them to be open, and make a reservation during busy seasons (school holidays) !

    Nice place for trips around the lake and to the mountains. The village has many restaurants and shops. Burgruine Wartenfels is worth seeing, especially for amazing views of the landscape, lakes and mountains.

    Fuschl is a little off the best track but so quiet and...

    Fuschl is a little off the best track but so quiet and peaceful. You will need some transport to get around and see the sights as the whole area is stunning. Fushl is lovely to visit, also St Gilgen where are at Brunetti'. The likes and walks are great as accessible and a fry your is a must. The restaurant Gamsjaga comes highly recommend and as a beautiful view over the lake.

    This is our third visit to this place.

    This is our third visit to this place. It is a very beautiful little village. Not as busy as other in area. Has everything we need, lake ,restaurants , walking tracks , a bank, tourist office. Also a good bus service linking surrounding area , close to Salzburg.

    Small, but nice place.

    Small, but nice place. A walk around the lake is adviced (3hrs). Possible to swim, the heated pool is extra. Some nice restaurants, you have the chance to choose. Good place to start trips to the nearby.

    It is a great place for sports, trekking, cycling, swimming. The lake is extra clean and you can easily reach the tops of the mountains around. If you don't stay in any hotel, you can find a quiet place to swim not far from the main street.

    Woderful location at the very end of the Fuschl village surrounded by medows and forests only. There is absolute silience and darkness in the night and quiteness and privacy during the day. Yet it takes only 10 minutes walking to get to the Fuschl center with restaurants and lake beach. The flat is spacious, newly equipped with everything functional and absolutely clean. Mrs. Sabine is perfect host. She gave us valuable tips for our stay.

    Very well located, good value for money. It is a cheaper add-on to a more fancy hotel, however it is not allowed to use the main hotel's facilities, like pool or beach. Nevertheless, the staff offer a free of charge entrance card to the community beach/pool area for the entire period of the stay, otherwise the price is about 6 eur/day. Breakfast is ok, nothing fancy but all the products had good quality and taste.

    Super friendly and helpful host would like to return just to meet with him again. Location is great, few minute walk to lake side restaurant with amazing sunset view. Great place for road cycling, a lot of loops goes by the property.
