The hotel was easy to find--centrally located on the main road. Our room was modern, clean, and comfortable. The air conditioning actually worked, I was so thrilled (the other hotels on our trip had advertised air conditioning that didn't really work after all)!! The AC was fully adjustable in our room, so I sat there on the bed like a penguin that sits under the snow machine in the exhibit at the zoo; it was heaven. The breakfast was SO GOOD. Americans, this place had the crispiest bacon I have ever seen on the European continent. On our way to and from our room, we passed through a game room with foosball and pool tables, so naturally I challenged my husband to a game of pool (I won). There was on-site parking, and the connecting restaurant was also fantastic--we had dinner there. Our room also had a balcony which was nice. When we mentioned to the front desk upon checkout that we were going to the lake on our way out of town, they gave us a coupon so we wouldn't have to pay to go to the public beach.

ON THE LAKE IT CAN'T BE BETTER. Exceptional kindness of the owner and staff. Although I reserved only one apartment without my special request, they gave me two for the same price, one next to the other with a view of the lake. That has never happened to me anywhere. The facility is perfectly organized, although the reception is only open until the afternoon. You can get all information by phone, and most services by pressing a button.

    Nice place but too small.

    Nice place but too small. Its for relax if you are kind of "stay at place" people. Nature great, but to much privat grounds around the lake. No walk way right next to the lake. Like it is f.e. at Bled lake. Its sit and enjoy the view, air and peace.

    approx. 200 m from the lake, beautiful and clean accommodation, excellent and rich breakfast, very kind and helpful owners, excellent communication, accommodation for dogs, free e-bike rental, they rent sports equipment for the water, private grassy beach, local food, the possibility of many bicycle trips even on foot, beautiful nature. Thank you very much.

    Very easy to do cycle trips ; lots of trails and also easy to cycle round the lake (ca 23km). Also easy to do walks. Swimming in the lake was wonderful. Reservations definitely need to be done as far in advance as possible during high season for restaurants in the evening. We were astonished how many restaurants were full. Klagenfurt easy to reach (by car) and Villach easy to reach (by bike) for trips in the towns.

    We had room without balcony for 2 nights. And then we moved to the apartment with the balcony - what was super! House is very close to the lake (6€ entry to the beach), parking, wifi. Very good breakfast. Restaurant opened every day except monday. The family takes care about hotel and restaurant. Many thanks, we loved the place!
