I have to say I don't understand why people visit here other than that it's somewhere to stay and also eat before heading off to the various natural attractions. There was no charm or character. I feel like I missed something. It was just a dumpy, dreary town with the odd boring historical building. The best part of Alice Springs would be the Desert Wildlife Park which was excellent, but I couldn't see that it had anything else going for it.Guest review byRebeccaAustralia - 10.0

We unfortunately encountered 2 days of rain on our 2 day stay. Guidebooks helped us get around and choose activities to do indoors. Our room was very comfortable and the shower was delightful - it had great water pressure and the water was hot! It was a lovely afternoon when we arrived so we opted to sit by the pool in the sun for a while and read which was delightful. In the evening, we were recommended to have a meal at the Alice Springs Golf Club located at the rear of the property, which was a great recommendation.
