Great property for family travelling with ensuite bathrooms. The property is dated but it meats the style of an old Queenslander. If it was modernised would spoil character.Great wrap round verandah which is gated and can be closed off for young children to safely play. It depends on what one wants/needs.
It depends on what one wants/needs. It is a very small village with few facilities. If one wants to get away from the rat race, Amamoor and nearby villages (Kandanga, Imbil) provide that possibility. Rose was very accommodating with our late check-in. The room was super comfortable, spacious and clean. had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Amamoor is a small township with lots going on & heaps to do. You can be as busy or quiet as you like!! I needed a real time-out period & I got it. The beauty of the countryside.was so soothing & yet the short hikes & location of the neighouring towns was a treasure & a pleasure to input into the economy of these towns. The accommodation was perfect - Restful and relaxing. I would have liked more time to stay - I am planning another longer stay to explore the walking wildlife and surrounds. Amamoor Lodge provided a beautiful home away from home, nestled in the bush with plenty of walking trails, and gorgeous views. I loved it so much, the peacefulness, the chickens and the goodest boy, Charlie the dog, that the following morning when I woke, I rebooked the accommodation again for a another trip.
