What a lovely place! It has all the amenities you need for your stay in gorgeous Bicheno. Supermarket is just a 5 min walk away as well as the beach where you can watch the little penguin come in late in the evening (when it's already dark). The self-Check-in was easy and you can park your car just outside the house (street parking).

Host was very friendly and allowed us to check in an hour early. Fantastic views from the decking. A few minutes walk from the famous Bicheno Blowhole. Cabin is well equipped, comfy bed, powerful shower and host has left all sorts of items in cabin to make the stay more comfortable. Great price too. Would go back.

Gorgeous cottage called The Stables. Lots of windows and well appointed. Coffee machine and Cafeteria provided. Salt & pepper grinders provided. Comfortable bed and crisp sheets and thick towels. Free laundry facilities. Very short walk to the beach. Just fabulous!

    We visited the Devils in the Dark show. Brilliant! Viewing feeding the Tasmanian Devils over wine and cheese. Great dinner at Sealife Restaurant and Cafe. Comfortable stay at Bicheno on the Bay. Penguin chick under our deck was noisy but so exciting to see. Blowhole and beaches are stunning.

    Bicheno was a great base to explore the area.

    Bicheno was a great base to explore the area. We were sad we did not see any penguins. We had take away fish and chips at Tasmanian Coastal Seafoods which was beautifully cooked and delicious! We also had dinner at Le Coq and wow, was the most amazing piece of steak that melted in your mouth.

    Stayed at Beachfront which was great value for money,...

    Stayed at Beachfront which was great value for money, central location, within walking distance to most attractions. We ate at Food & Brew for lunch & the iconic Lobster Shack for dinner, with some afternoon beers at the newly opened Bicheno Beer Co cellar door. The blowhole is a short walk or easily accessible by a short car drive. Beautiful seaside town with lots to offer, definitely recommend staying a night or two.

    Coastal walks were superb.

    Coastal walks were superb. We could see the lookout on the hill but had great difficulty in finding information about it & easy access - a wasted opportunity for new visitors to the area as once up there the views were fabulous.

    I must admit that when I saw the property I was very disappointed .advertised as a lake view on the bay,It was a mediocre motel at best and the lake was a dirty children’s play pool really but dirty and I would never have let any children of mine anyway near it.

    Bicheno was very enjoyable and a great location to stay a few nights and enjoy the surrounds. Well located to do day trips north or south along the east coast. Enjoyed the Penguin Tour. Very scenic location.

    This apartment was centrally located and would be the best accommodation we⁷ stayed in during our 2 week journey around Tasmania. (Sorry Garden Room on Nixon in Devonport - The Hub just pipped you at the post - not by much though)! Breakfast was via the Cafe next door. It could be ordered in advance and delivered to your room or you could eat it there. We chose the later.

    We absolutely loved, loved, loved our stay at Bicheno by the Bay. The cabin was just so cosy with all amenities provided and the view was simply spectacular. Sitting on the deck with views of the Bicheno Blow Holes, 100 metres away from the best lobster rolls (Lobster Shack) we have ever tasted, were an added bonus to our wonderful stay here. We will be back...
