First time we normally stay elsewhere but glad we stayed at Al Mare!! Loved the location and beach was so close, being able to have a spa and see outside also roomy! Wasn't cramped in a little apartment.. definitely stay again!

The room was clean and very good size. The main bed was very comfortable. The shower pressure is very good. Available free parking within the compound is much welcomed. Location was good, in close proximity to town and to nearby food options. Reception was professional and efficient. Being on the top floor with a view of Lake Tuggerah was a bonus.

This might just be a 'hotel on top of a hotel' kind of place, but I think this might be the best of the lot. Kept impressively clean, including the common bathroom, a plush bed, good wifi to boot, and it's also pretty quiet even WITH the bar downstairs! Staff were incredibly helpful as well, and I can't say I found anything too wrong with this place, especially if you are just stopping for the night on a road trip down and need somewhere decently priced to stay!

Service was amazing, when I checked in staff asked about why I booked and I told them it was a weekend planned for my birthday with my family and gave a complimentary bottle of wine. They explained everything about the place, what they had to offer and things we could do. Our apartment was amazing, spacious, modern and very clean.

    Loved the privacy of the pool was the highlight of the trip, also I liked how the kitchen was fully equipped to prepare a meal. I didn't like the fact thier is no air-conditioning around the whole house only a in 2 bedrooms upstairs the fan wasn't doing muc, also the pool hoe it was getting dirtier by each day and by the third day it was really bad due to the leaves and all and we had no way of cleaning it

    Only drove through The Entrance which looked very scenic...

    Only drove through The Entrance which looked very scenic... we spent most of our visit to Blue Bay on the beach as the weather was perfect. A short beach walk to Toowoon Bay provided calm protected patrolled beach setting. Kids enjoyed fossicking in shallow rock pools en route.
