The Flinders Ranges are not only and drop-dead gorgeous in terms of the landscape and sightseeing but are geologically and culturally fascinating. The Great wall of China lived up to its name!
So many emus!!!
Driving around is easy - roads are good.

The Flinders Ranges offers visitors an insight into some significant geological upheaval during the ediacaran period of some 500 million years ago. There are an abundance of walks and tours that match all fitness and interest levels for young and old.

Australia's best kept secret bar none.
Australia's best kept secret bar none. The Flinders Ranges offers peace, tranquility, and stunning scenery with plunging gorges that are a geologist's paradise. The landscapes are vast and timeless with the most beautiful flora and fauna. For me, this was a spiritual journey that drew me closer to God.

Flinders ranges are awesome, your staff and guides are helpfull and courteous. Kristen's 4 wheel drive tour was excellent, she is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable.
The walk to the homestead and Wangarra lookouts was easier than I thought for a reasonably fit 80 year old.
The old homestead was a worthwhile look.
We had the chance to speak with Jeff Morgan for some time when visiting his gallery which really capped off a very enjoyable and memorable short trip.

Having travelled extensively to the Kimberlys, Mitchell Plateau, Bungle Bungles, Uluru, Litchfield, Kakadu, Chambers Pillar, Kings Canyon, Carnarvon Gorge, Blue Mountains, Cradle Mountain, I was surprised to be so totally blown away by the Flinders Ranges. Just amazing and like seeing millions of years of evolution of the earth in the 1 spot. Also massively elevated my already amazing admiration and envy of people completing the Heysen Trail.

Immaculately clean and comfortable little cabin that had everything we needed. Great communication from the owners which helped to make sure we go the most from our stay. Fantastic location to soak up the atmosphere of living in the Flinders Ranges.
This is a unique experience in a very remote place and that’s the attraction. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we appreciated the visitors lounge and the fact that the hotel provided dinner bed and breakfast.
