Great shower, and that is where it stops, massive gap under the door let's cold in and dust only a small hand broom to go over the floor it was so gritty to walk on blinds don't fit properly so cannot keep the light out plus when it's windy they swing so light dark light dark and only 1 thin blanket to keep warm noisy heating overall would not stay againGuest review byAnneAustralia - 10.0

We loved Sir Francis Drake accommodation the best and all its facilities. We also loved going to woollies as it was just 4minutes away. We enjoyed the hotel food and a few take aways from KFC AND MACDONALDS which was just across the road. we found it easy to get around as we have our car, however getting a taxi is just a call away, but Didi was a bit difficult to get.Guest review bysalota - 8.0

A very family orientated park starting with this family run business. Rooms were large and clean. Park was very busy and no lack of attention from all staff even when run off their feet. Very centralized to Maitland and Newcastle. Lots of Fast Food / Fuel and Quality eating places within a short distance. The in-house restaurant at Sir Francis Drake is lovely, and the food is nice. It's my usual place to stay.Guest review bySusanAustralia - 10.0

Town didn't have a shopping center but is within short drive (5 minutes) to Raymond Terrace which has all shops required for food / clothes etc for longer stay. Heatherbrae has many service stations as well as food areas, including fast food, pie shop etcGuest review byEdwardAustralia

Overall satisfactory for an overnight stay. Large windows overlooking well kept gardens. Bed ok but this is a personal preference. Despite being near busy highway the noise was minimal- suggest you request a room at the back. Restaurant on sight with basic menu- meal ok. Subway & McDonalds across the road and Heatherbrae pies and BP service centre a couple of minutes drive away Issue with odour from the drain in the bathroom and lime scale build up in shower- staff notified on leaving.Guest review byDianeAustralia
