We stayed in the Victorian Suite. The room was large and the king sized bed was comfortable. The room was equipped with a mini bar fridge, microwave, toaster and a kettle. Breakfast was supplied for in room self preparation - toast, cereal, coffee, tea, juice and a local spring water which was a nice touch. Location is great being metres away from the main strip in Olinda.

The farmhouse living experience was amazing. House is equipped with all the basic necessities for cooking. My toddler was playing with the variety of toys. The farm and range view was so good. A lot of amenities, restaurant within 5 mins driving distance. And the host Ms.Naomi was super hospitable with all the request I had. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Our room was perfect, the bed was wonderful, even my husband who is a poor sleeper, slept well, the shower was fantastic and the patio was a delightful surprise complete with a pond and wildlife to help unwind and relax. The rooms are stage in a way that you feel like you are on your own but if you had children, there was space for them to burn energy and be cooped in a room. Dinner in the bistro was just normal food, not special but good and the staff everywhere were friendly and smiled, i appreciated the smiles. a few miles up the road was the township of Mt Evelyn where wee found yummy bakeries and shops to explore and nearby nursuries often had breakfasts. You need to stay here.

Loved visiting the wineries (wine tasting & food) the incredible views at the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery, the picturesque Alowyn Gardens - but the highlight was definitely - The Blue Lotus Water Garden. It was breathtaking. Spanning over 14 acres (50,000 square meters) in size. The tropical-themed gardens contain more than 40 different ponds, lakes and water features which produce the biggest display of lotus and waterlily flowers in the southern hemisphere. The grounds also contain an amazing array of exotic plants, garden exhibits, fountains, waterfalls, floral sculptures, walks, scenic vistas and picnic areas. One staff member told us the history and it was fascinating. The farm land it is on has been owned by the same family for 4 generations and has changed multiple timed due to demand. The Blue Lotus Water garden is seasonal for only 4 months - after that, the whole garden is pulled up, the water drained - everything is replanted again for the next year's season. This information was not on the website - we all loved hearing about the family and how each generation farmed this land and made it what it is today. we will definitely go back with other family members.

We used the hotel for an overnighter related to a medical procedure my husband had to have done. It provided an ideal place for the night that positioned us between the hospital on the first day and the medical rooms for the checkup on the 2nd day. The room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was clean and cully equipped. Even though the hotel was used by a number of truck crews that night, the room and the area were very quiet. The outlook from the room onto a natural setting of trees and a lake were unexpected and very relaxing.

We have stayed at the property a couple of times previously but this time the bed wasn't as comfortable as the previous time. Also, it would be good to at least have a toaster in the room. I can't honestly say that I've ever stayed at a hotel that didn't have one.

Quiet room. BWS liquor store in carpark. Hotel staff switched around rooms so that we could have interconnecting rooms as we were there for a family funeral.
