This was a lovely little studio with fully equipped kitchenette. The patio had table/chairs and was a good place to watch the local birds. While the double bed was a little small for us, the couch was effectively a single bed and very comfortable. The location was close to both walking tracks and great restaurants. We had a very comfortable stay!

This was a lovely apartment. The surroundings were so pretty and full of birds. Communication was great from start to finish and we were greeted and helped to find our place. The cute sign personally welcoming us was such a nice touch! The kitchen area and bathroom had everything we could need and were very clean. WiFi worked well. The hosts were gracious to allow us to leave our things on the porch after checkout. Great location on beautiful Maggie’s island. We’d highly recommend this apartment.

    Nelly Bay was beautiful but Magnetic Island was stunning and relaxing. We hiked to watch sunset, saw so much wildlife (a koala, echidna, wallaby, stingray, turtle) and the views and different beaches were all magnificent (Arcadia, Geoffrey Bay, Fort Walk, Nelly Bay). We took a car and it was the best decision as the bus service seemed to have quite a wait. Overall we loved Maggie Island, the getaway was just what I needed and I will definitely go back.

    A great location for visiting Magnetic Island.

    A great location for visiting Magnetic Island. Bakery was a gem and the cafe opposite the accommodation. The island bus was excellent costing $1 for travelling on it more than once during the day. Lots of great scenic walks.

    Nelly Bay is a beautiful, low-key, welcoming and relaxing place. Walking along the path through the marina was a favourite. We loved running and walking along the Gabul pathway with the view of Geoffory Bay at the top. Cafe Del Sol has amazing coffee and great, relaxed atmosphere - a great way to start the day. Buses were the best way to get around the island.

    We love all of Magnetic Island.

    We love all of Magnetic Island. Go to the toad races, Alma is the best beach to swim in. Eat at Thai again. Do the jet skis. Do a snorkel boat tour. Eat the crepes. SOS is great. IGA has everything you'll need. Sadly the scooters have changed brands and are no longer reliable, hopefully that changes. Magnetic taxis are great and reliable and the buses are easy. Go to the helped, there's heaps of rock wallabies there, take them some carrots and they'll eat them from your hand. They will let you pat them while eating. The pool at peppers is the best! Horseshoe Bay paddle boards and kayaks are a wonderful hour on the water. The owner is a great guy. The Sunday market is tired though and needs more stalls. The golf is great at picnic bay and barefoot social bowls on Tuesday is fun for all the family. If you want a beautiful relaxing holiday Go Magnetic Island. Recommend May to September.

    The shuttle buses around the island were ideal to get to the 4 main towns. Nelly bay has 2 supermarkets which is super handy staying there instead of travelling with your shopping on the buses. Beautiful main beach and close to see the rock wallabies.

    Nelly Bay is a great base, but you need to stay somewhere with a pool unless you have a car. Good to rent a car even for 24 hours as the swimming beaches are at Picnic Bay, Alma Bay and Horseshoe Bay. You can catch a public bus, but they run approximately hourly. We rented 12pm to 12pm which worked really well. The Sunday market at Horseshoe Bay had a great Thai food stall. Recommend Nourish in Horseshoe Bay for lunch or juice and great Indian Sr Lankan curries and Thai salads, Adele's cafe in Horseshoe Bay for Gelato, and Elsie in Picnic Bay is a must for dinner. Note that hire cars cannot go on certain roads so you won't be able to drive to West Point.

    In a quiet location with a lovely pool. Spacious, functional layout with well thought out inclusions. Good cooking facilities and full size fridge. Plenty of hot water. Short flat walk to the Foodworks supermarket, bottle shop and the outstanding Saltwater (BYO) restaurant. Bus stop at the end of the drive to go to the IGA near the ferry terminal or explore the island (the 7 day bus pass is a bargain). All in all a lovely holiday in first class accommodation at a reasonable price. Owner very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

    The apartment is very close to the ferry terminal on Magnetic Island making it a very easy walk with luggage. The apartment is beautifully furnished with lots of home accessories to make it look very inviting. The towels were gorgeous as was the very comfortable bed. A supermarket is right next door along with car hire etc making the trip very easy to manage. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

    Very nice having a 'home' feeling while holidaying on Magnet Island. Explored all day and came back to chilling on the couch in comfort. Even the ability to was our clothes was a very unique advantage. Kate, the hostess, was very friendly and made our stay comfortable.

    A cheap, cute little place at the edge of the town. But still, within walking distance from the ferry, a supermarket, and a bottle shop. I would stay here again when coming to Magnetic Island!
