When we got to the motel there was a dog fence out the front door (we had 2 schnauzers) our hosts were amazing. Beautiful location the beach was just across the road.

Awesome location and nice and quiet. Very friendly staff. Super clean and tidy inside and out. Would definitely come back to stay and would highly recommend for accommodation.

My wife and I visited Sweet Retreat as a base to visit the Southern Great Barrier Reef whilst we were up in Bundaberg. The home is in a beautiful setting with amazing sunsets over the cane fields and loads of kangaroos hopping about at dawn and dusk. At night we loved lighting the fire and watching the stars. Louise was a fantastic host, who gave us lots of tips about Bundaberg, kept the home very clean and even gave us some fresh lemonade made from fruit from the garden.

The place was super easy to reach and accessible. Jim and Sue were very helpful in making sure that they could manage according to my timings. Deborah at the restaurant was really helpful as well.

The 2 bedrooms appartement was perfect for us (1 couple+ 1 solo), all facilities needed and more. Loved the patio with hanging line for clothes, the heater in the bathroom and all small details making us feeling so welcomed. We stayed in Bundaberg to go explore Lady Musgrave Island and could not have a best stay.
