I stayed in the newly renovated rooms, and they exceeded my expectations. The beds were the most comfortable I have ever experienced—like sleeping on a cloud—with perfect pillows for a restful night. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully designed. As a light sleeper, I truly appreciated the excellent noise insulation—I couldn’t hear my neighbours or any of the usual door slamming, which made for an incredibly peaceful stay. The housekeepers were absolutely lovely when we exchanged a few words, which left a great impression. I will definitely be coming back!

The room/studio was amazing. The bed, the bathroom, the patio, the small kitchenette - everything felt really thought through and high end. Mandy was an amazing host, really responsive and catered for every wish. Her breakfast was amazing and she provided everything you could possibly need in the apartment. The location is also great - you can easily reach Shelly beach (the closest beach) in a 10-minute walk and you also reach the Port Macquarie coastal walk in 20 minutes, which is amazing. It is a 10 minute drive to the town center, which is very convenient. The location of the apartment is really calm and comforting.

The room was even better than the photos. Very clean. Good shower. Host was very nice and responsive to messages. Shelly beach is right across the road, 2 min walk to a lookout spot with a beautiful view. Walked 10 mins in the morning to a very nice coffee spot right on Flynn’s beach with a gorgeous view. Would stay again and would recommend to a friend !

Everything was great. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Everything was great. Wished we could have stayed longer. Hosts were absolutely delightful. Place was beautifully clean Variety of well cared for animals in well maintained surroundings. Not there long enough to use the kayaks but would certainly do so if staying longer and in a warmer season. Also would have loved to have thrown out a crab pot or two.We were well prepared for self catering but be aware no shops in the immediate vicinity. Serene bliss. I hate shops. I would love to add photos but they are all of my grandchildren so I’m not prepared to put them up on social media. Sorry.
