The local bars and restaurants were great. They were busy for school holidays but staff were always willing to help out and get you a spot. Bar Musque in Tanunda was a highlight! Amazing food and gin - staff were exceptional and super helpful. The little shops and the main drag is a great spot to have wine or coffee with the nicest produce around. Great little town! Loved Bar Musque with tapas. The food was Devine with friendly service. A definite must do for everyone! A Wine Wagon wine tour was good value for money. Stopped at the Saturday markets before heading to four wineries for tastings and lunch was delicious! So much food- all included in the price. Thanks Timo! Had tea at The Clubhouse on Saturday night. Favourite places were Z Wines, Brothers at War, RieslingFreak, and Alkina (this last one is a bit out of Tanunda). Bar Musque is great for dinner. Very easy to get around Tanunda - a lot within walking distance. Perfect location for an event at the Barossa - free parking available for hire cars and a short drive or walk to the heart of Tanunda. Buffet breakfast was awesome when hungover after the wedding. Complimentary snacks and drinks in the room were appreciated. For our holiday, we also stayed at a 4- and 5-star hotel and the Weintal was comfortably a better experience than both of those.
