1. The Age of Dinosaurs Museum is a "Must See". You will not regret taking the tour, marvellously educational and a lot of fun. The staff are top notch. The shop is great, be prepared to purchase for your grand kids!
2. Steak dinners at Tattersall's Hotel - awesome porterhouse.
3. The Musical Fence - what a lot of fun!

I loved spending time in Winton it has a unique charm of a true outback town that is rare today. Everyone was lovely and friendly locals and the old hotels were impressive and also the shops in town of yesterday’s era. One of the main highlights for me was the outdoor theatre so special ❤️

It was very good. did the stampede and rifts and sunset dinner drinks. Visited the Gregory Hotel and stayed for the poetry in the afternoon Had our own car but booked experiences. the stampede experience was great, much better than driving ourselves.

There is a bit to see in the town. The locals are very friendly. We had a good time at the North Gregory Hotel which has a great beer garden if the weather is right. There is an outdoor cinema theatre worth visiting. We needed something special from the Pharmacy and the Pharmacist and staff were very helpful (next to the cinema).

Winton is a place full of knowledge, from the Australian age of dinosaurs which was our high light to seeing a Brolga up close. Also, opals and a fantastic meal at the tattersall hotel which was a short walking distance from our motel

We loved staying in an authentic small outback town which retained its original buildings and charm, while still providing for visitors. There was a choice of pubs for refreshments and meals, and plenty to look at and experience (without being too 'in your face'). We loved being in the middle of nowhere, comfortably and not in a motel chain room! Wi-fi wasn't easy to access for us - that was fine for me but may bother some people. Bring lots of drinking water as the town water in Winton is pretty stinky.

I ate at the hotel most nights. The Pizza there is probably the best I have had. All the food was lovely and very generous portions. The staff were so very friendly and I felt very comfortable sitting having a drink in the bar at the end of the day. Winton is one fabulous wee town.
A beautiful home in a quiet location. The house had everything you need for a two day stay. It was a hop, skip and a jump to the Winton Hotel and a 5-10 minute stroll to the main street.
We loved the peaceful and quiet location. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Lisa.
Contact the hotel if you want your accommodation rooms together. We assumed booking rooms as a family would book two rooms together however not the case and it was an inconvenience with three small kids involved. Apart from that no other issues. Staff were lovely.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Olive Grove and when we return to Winton we will definitely book again. It was a magical break right in the middle of our 4000klm road trip.

Great location. Nice, clean room. A short walk to the open air theatre. Really enjoyed listening to the bush poet at the North Gregory Hotel followed by a lovely dinner.
