Truly a marvellous and highly unique and memorable little Hotel. The word quaint and rustic are bandied about an awful lot, but Eltham hotel is the real deal in this regard. You get a traditional pub, in a truly lovely unspoilt colonial building, with a handful of spacious and individually tastefully decorated rooms. I thought the food was very good, loves the zucchini starters and the deserts were something special. The main of chicken parms were tasty and filling. Matthew, the owner was warm and chatty, and the staff were all very welcoming. It’s also very family friendly. Ultimately, one of the best places I’ve ever stayed (no exaggeration).

I like the cabin location because it is surrounded by nature. They have a farm and we can buy fresh eggs for breakfast. The cabin was clean, the bed and pillow were comfortable, and the kitchen was of a good size to cook spectacular meals. The veranda has a BBQ where you can eat outside.

Travelled to casino for primex & the Arcadia motel was only 30mins away. Even though it’s an older motel it’s lovely & clean with all the amenities you need. Arrived late afternoon & were thrilled that we could order some hot food ( fish, chips & salad ) which was delicious. We also ordered cooked breakfast which was great. Wonderfully friendly host. Subway is 2 mins up the road.

We stayed at Wollongbar to visit family in Alstonville which is close by. The accommodation gave us space and comfort to relax in. We had dinner at the pub in Alstonville as the Tavern was very crowded and busy.

The location was perfect as it was close to Ballina and...

The location was perfect as it was close to Ballina and Lismore. The local tavern was so close we were able to walk to it, with good well price meals. Excellent location for those travelling through who want a good clean well priced accommodation.

The Arabella North Coast is only a short walk from the local pub and shops, and a 20 minutes drive from Lismore town center. The hotel rooms were nicely presented and very comfortable. My favourite feature was the spa out in the garden which I was able to relax in under the stars after a long drive from Sydney! I will certainly be visiting The Arabella again!

I loved the place where the hotel is located. I was driving along the coast, and I found this detour, inland, fantastic. The room had a little terrasse where I could hear the signing birds at sunset, immersed in a wonderful smell of flowers (end of winter). It was also convenient to have a couple of restaurants nearby to go walking for dinner.

Well presented modern motel in Wollongbar. Clean and comfortable. Suited us well but it’s midway between Lismore and Ballina. And only a short walk to the Wollongbar pub for dinner.
