Paraty is surrounded by emerald green forests attached to mountains that plummet directly into turquoise waters or white-sand beaches. Paraty is a historical town in the state of Rio de Janeiro but border with São Paulo. Streets of rocks (not cobblestones) and colonial architecture is everywhere. It's an absolutely gorgeous place. There are many beautiful beaches, but the crown jewel is the sea, where you can find dozens of wonderful islands and beaches reached only by boat, so this is a mandatory tour.
