It is very clean, well maintained, the rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable, the environment is very pleasant, the staff are lovely and the breakfast was excellent. The patio area around the pool is very pleasant. Unlike far too many places I have stayed in in Brazil, it is true value for money. The only downside is it is a long distance from cafes, restaurants and Sao Joao Del Rei, so a car is essential.Guest review byPeterAustralia

It’s perfectly located in the old part of town in possibly the prettiest street in Sao Joao! It’s very nicely renovated, beds were super comfortable and you could actually sit on a bottom bunkbed! There was a balcony outside the rooms with an excellent view of the countryside. The room was large and included a basic kitchen area with microwave oven.
