This is a rugged and wild rural location. The attractions are whale watching and walks along the the rugged coastline. There are very few conveniences like stores or restaurants, especially in the off season. The restaurant at the Brier Island Lodge is the only proper restaurant, and is only open in the summer. There are small general stores in Westport, Freeport and Tiverton. Best bet is to bring what you need and stay in a Airbnb, or stay at the Lodge.

Kitchen electric grill didn't work so no eggs could be cooked for my breakfast! . Roomy livingroom kitchen area. Pull out sofa ofc not comfortable but bedroom was. The most horrible thing was that bathroom. Omg no toilet paper, or soap and bath mat sopping wet when we got there. Ew! Shower was a nightmare, water all over the place, shower head horrible, spitting water in the dark. Shower dark! No dry towel even to step on. Not fun. Also don't walk path. It is overgrown and we got lost!
