The weather was perfect for hiking and exploring, and it was past the blackfly season. The staff were very helpful in suggesting hikes, trails and local points of interest. I was here on business and really didn't spend much time in Haileybury except when I was in my room. It is the beginning of winter here and we are in the midst of a pandemic so things are much more difficult at this time. I ate mostly fast food which was readily available to me during my daytime travels. It is easy to get around the Haileybury and Tritown area in a vehicle but the roads can be bumpy.Guest review byRobertCanada

Exceptional view of the lake and marina with everything contained in one "city" block (LCBO, waterfront walkways and park, restaurant and, even a cannabis store two blocks away). The food served on the terrasse or take-out (no inside restaurant) is an excellent blend of indian (not too spicy, just right) and traditional (butter chicken poutine, pizza on nan bread). My husbands family owned it in the early 70's, many good memories. so great to sit right at the waterfront. Our room , was in his day the laundry area, and it has been changed into a lovely room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and would highly recommend this hotel . We will be back. Very friendly and accommodating family owners. Have never seen such a large collection of DVDs and videos for guests to view in their room (over 4,000 choices).
