Scenic area to visit with lots of great hiking and lovely...
Scenic area to visit with lots of great hiking and lovely towns. Our hosts had helpful information on what to do and see in the area. The Pender Harbour Blues festival at the beginning of June is fun. Could have spent more time exploring. Just the perfect 1/2 way point from the ferry to Egmont...
Just the perfect 1/2 way point from the ferry to Egmont...loved that it was so close to Sechelt as well but never more than a 45 minute drive anywhere. Most driving consisted of under 1/2 hour to get to any hikes etc that we wanted to go.Guest review byCarmenCanada - 10.0
An absolutely gorgeous area on the Sunshine coast.
An absolutely gorgeous area on the Sunshine coast. The water is warm and inviting. The forest and mountains offer unparalleled views. Truly a unique gem of the south coast of British Columbia. Check out Egmont area for beautiful lakes, a cool pub at backeddy lodge, Ruby lake's La Trattoria was amazing, as was Inlets at West Coast Wilderness Lodge.Guest review byDean - 4.0
The views are nice.
The views are nice. Unfortunately the shores are rocky and there isn't really beach or swimming available. The only people we saw enjoying the water were floating on inner tubes in a small freshwater reservoir off the highway. We found it overrun on a summer weekend and we couldn't even find a restaurant that was open of not full. We cut our stay short and moved on to our next location.Guest review byJasonCanada

The kitchen was well appointed and the unit was comfortable and very clean. We enjoyed the semi-private hot tub on the beautifully landscaped property. From the beautiful ocean view bedroom to the delicious meals served. All of the hotel staff were helpful, polite and couldn't do enough for us.
