L’Anse Aux Meadows was amazing.
Ate at Lightkeepers Cafe.
L’Anse Aux Meadows was amazing.
Ate at Lightkeepers Cafe. Authentic Newfoundland food.
Very easy to see all attractions.
AVOID accommodations at Wildberry Country Lodge B&B. Sadly photos on this site are not even close to authentic. Misleading is an understatement!

Accommodations we found in town at short notice was good.
Accommodations we found in town at short notice was good. Friendly, helpful folks. Grenfell centre has two jamb packed historic site. There are a variety of hiking trails. A couple of good eateries plus a cute little coffee place as well as a Timmy's. Northern Adventures Boat tour and visit to the Lighthouse were well worth the trip especially because there were icebergs and whales around. Amazing place.

Hotel is located on the side of the highway with nothing much around. We were there on a foggy rainy day and the hotel didn't look like much but it was clean, the bed was comfy and the host very friendly and helpful. He made us a wonderful breakfast. Almost anything you wanted was available and on arrival he told us to help ourselves. The next morning he greeted us and cooked us a hot breakfast as well. Never been served like that before

The hotel itself is great. Well kept, clean and neat. Staff was friendly with a decent continental breakfast as a bonus. Ample close parking too. From a tourists perspective well located with a food/licquor/pharmacy a short walk away. Grenfell Historical Society nearby and ashort drive up to the very worthwhile Fishing Point municipal park. If your exploring the area, L'Anse aux Meadows and Burnt cape a very reasonable hotel.

This hotel was lovely. The room was spacious, updated and very clean. The breakfast was expected, it was all we needed. We only wish the lady from the front desk who was singing and playing guitar would have been working on our second night.
