We always enjoy the sandy Devonshire beach where we can walk for miles and collect driftwood. The lake water is shallow close to the beach and is ideal for kids to splash around in. It is very wild and undisturbed. Fishing is excellent. Bird watchers can see migrating warblers in the fall and visit the Boreal Centre for Bird Conservation for interesting information about bird species in the forest. There is a small gift shop.

    The room was filthy.

The room was filthy. We didn’t get service as in clean towels or the room made up the 2 nights we were there. We were told the door was locked. We were not in our room the whole time except to sleep. You had to use some oomph to open the door and our chambermaids were men! Ladies running the desk and the men cleaning rooms. Someone had never opened the curtains in I don’t know when but the window sill was just disgusting with dead bugs, spider webs, dirt, and obvious never been cleaned forever.

The location was great. Close to all areas of the town.

The location was great. Close to all areas of the town. At night the area was very quiet. No traffic noise at all in the room and we were facing the highway. Mr. Mike's restaurant was right next door but it is quite expensive and the food was mediocre. Devonshire beach is a great place to go for swimming, sunbathing and fishing. the lake is super when the wind isn't blowing. There are several restaurants in town. Most are good and Boston Pizza is very good as is Ta's restaurant.

. Typical hotel continental breakfast . Everything was fine . The fruit was fresh , hot & cold options were available. The breakfast room was well stocked & always kept clean . All the staff were friendly & welcoming. A genuinely relaxing atmosphere.

The hotel was outside of town so there wasn't really a possibility to not find the location. Had posted signage for quiet time all over the place and that was pretty strictly followed and enforced. The day staff lady was very nice

The staff were incredibly kind. Both the check in and out went well. The hotel smelled amazingly clean, which was comforting.
